Rockley (Gold; EL8170, EL8194, EL8527)

Located 35km southeast of Blayney, the Rockley licences cover a portion of the late Silurian MumbilGroup, a geological sequence considered highly prospective for structurally controlled gold andMcPhillamys-style gold ± base metal mineralisation.

In the Rockley district, several historical gold occurrences appear hosted within intermediate to felsic volcaniclastics similar to those that host the McPhillamys deposit (e.g. Rosedale, Mt David and Carters Hill workings).

A reinterpretation of historical data sets for the Rosedale prospect has identified a possible untested structural repetition of the host stratigraphy which is coincident with a strongly chargeable induced polarisation anomaly and currently represents a priority drill target. Little work has been completed at Mt David however preliminary mapping has identified potential faulted offsets to the host stratigraphy.
