Alkane’s exploration and development projects are primarily located in the central western region of New South Wales, where we commenced gold exploration in the late 1970s.
We have two major current projects:
- The Tomingley Gold Project, southwest of Dubbo, incorporates our Tomingley Gold Operations and additional development prospects in the Tomingley Gold Corridor.
- Our Northern Molong Porphyry Project, east of Dubbo, includes the Boda prospect, where we have discovered significant porphyry-style gold-copper mineralisation.
Alkane’s Tomingley Gold Project spans a 60km gold corridor along the Newell Highway in central western New South Wales. Along with several promising prospects, it incorporates Tomingley Gold Operations (TGO), the Tomingley Gold Extension Project and the inactive Peak Hill Gold Mine.
Learn moreAlkane’s Northern Molong Porphyry Project is located in an area highly prospective for large-scale porphyry gold-copper deposits. Significant mineralisation has been identified at the Boda Prospect, which has potential to be a large, tier one gold-copper project.
Learn moreAlkane Resources has a number of other exploration projects and listed investments in mining companies.
